Katie will take the kids outside as well as work on indoor projects.
We will have activities from the Forest Preserve District such as learning about mammals, insects, birds, and plants…
• learn about great naturalists such as Jane Goodall
• learn how to identify trees, and use field guides
• make crafts like toilet paper roll cicadas
• learn the life cycle of monarch butterflies and how to preserve their habitat
• make a compost mandala and go home with peace and love compost!
• Make crafts out of recycled materials
We will also learn how being outside away from devices can help us be more calm.
